Weekly summary #19

Summary of the nineteenth week of my #SeniorDevRevamp project. Last week description can be even more emphasised once more – somewhere in-between being hired, and life testing me at all fronts.

Overall summary

Well, the main topic in the terms of technical stuff was my continued recrutiment process. I had a technical discussion, which went quite well (based on the feedback). However, it seems that all the main decisions will be made in the upcoming week.

On the other hand I wasn’t able to do that much besides that. Fatigue and unpleasant injury after last week’s 100km trekking took their’s toil, and prevented me from involvement in any kind of brain-related activity. Some other life issues emerged, and here I am – with nothing to show for my #SeniorDevRevamp progress. I guess that’s how it goes sometimes.

What’s next?

Let’s see what will happen in the area of recruitment. However, as I am waiting I feel like I could use a break a little, and maybe delve into some other topics in the IT world.

Day by day list

• 14-10-2024: I only did ANKI. I was still fatigued after the weekend’s trekking (with some more serious injuries pending) so I just caught up with all the chores.
• 15-10-2024: ANKI in the morning. Had a technical interview for my new job. We’ll see how it will go.
• 16 to 20-10-2024: Combination of all kinds of personal stuff prevented me from doing anything really in the area of technical stuff. Well, life. I got a feedback from the technical interview, but overall I need to wait for the next week to make a final decision about the job.
