About me
My name is Michał Piotrowski aka Chlebik (it is a polish diminutive of the word ‘bread’). I come from Poland, and at the moment I am working as a software consultant in Java area. This blog is my personal log of all the things IT in my life. Before, I’ve run other blogs related to different areas I was interested in – most of them retired by now (Chlebik.dev and BareMetalDev.com). In 2024 I’ve decided to gather everything in one place, hence this blog was started. More on the main project I am involved in right now can be read on its dedicated page – SeniorDevRevamp.
I intend to put here everything that may come to use for the community. Reviews, interesting quotes, logs of my learning progress in different areas, and so forth. In my opinion, the social media landscape degenerates content creation, and I refuse to be a part of it. I’m convinced, that well-versed, quality material is still in a high demand, and IT people do not need to succumb to shallow, and short pulp-content that we find everywhere in social media. I like writing, and sharing my knowledge – using words, not only AI-generated graphics or reels. I hope my readers share that view, and they will accompany me on the road to mastery.
In my spare time I enjoy long-distance running, reading, classical music and mountain hiking. If you want to contact me, please use social media links at the bottom of the page.
