I read. Books I mean. A lot. Lots. All of them 😉 That’s a bold statement, but it’s actually true. On average I finish every year with circa 140-160 books read. Of course, not all of them are IT-related! A substantial subset of them is about psychology or philosophy (with not-that-small hint of spirituality). However, that part is covered in another place – my Polish-only blog about humanities. This page, focusing solely on programming and architecture, presents only books from this area. In order to make things easier, and also to have a single place where I keep all the reviews I have created – this page was created. 

I know what the mainstream opinion is today. That books in the IT field are passe, and with such a fast-paced industry they’re just too slow in terms of delivering values. That they’re already outdated the day they are published. Well – I disagree. For sure that applies to yet another book variation about the latest JS framework. However I am convinced that there are a lot of books that are somehow evergreen in nature. Either by their topic or influence they had back in a day. Those kinds of books I am trying to read and review. If you share my view – please enjoy the wide range of reviews from the list below!
